Polystyrene
It is characterized by low thermal conductivity and its lightweight. It is used for thermo-isolation of outside façades, floors and flat roofs. It resist from a damage to short-term heat over 100°C and long-term speaking it is suitable for realisation those temperature is up to 80°C. It is not dissolvable in water and closed cells do not absorb any water. That ensures to maintaining of mechanical characteristic of this material. It belongs very often to the most used materials not only because of its weight (when maintained high strength), but also thanks easy manipulation and cleanness at work.
